Android Instant Apps is the name of this new process, but there hasn’t been much news regarding the release of this feature. There may be some changes on the horizon, however, as a recent APK teardown of the Google Play Store shows Google is hiding some goodies. Mishaal from XDA Developers tore down the application and found new strings of code which may make it easy to opt-out of Instant Apps. There is also mention that a Play Store listing may show an indicator suggesting the app supports Instant Apps.We aren’t exactly sure why you wouldn’t want to take advantage of Instant Apps as you would be

developers can now get cracking on those android instant apps

During its developer conference in May, Google took Android Instant Apps out of the back burner when the company announced it would make available the tools necessary to make them. Fast forward to today, and the search giant updated the Instant Apps resources so developers can start to make them.As a refresher, Instant Apps are not meant to replace full-fledged apps – they are lightweight versions of their native counterparts. Even so, Instant Apps offer similar experiences while taking up far less space on your device.See also:What Android Instant Apps mean for Google Play install numbers3 weeks agoTo get started on the conversion, Google lists eight steps necessary to make it happen: 1) develop a use case for your Instant App, 2) Prepare your app for conversion, 3) implement Android App

i tried the instant pot. here's what i think about it, 8 months later.

The Instant Pot Is One Machine That Does the Work of 7 Gadgets(Image credit: Kelli Foster)
I first heard about the Instant Pot at the very beginning of this year when Cambria polled readers to find out their favorite slow cooker. Instead of a traditional slow cooker, many of you raved about the Instant Pot, but I'd never even heard of it. My curiosity led me to Amazon, where I found pages and pages of glowing reviews. Was I the only person who didn't know about the Instant Pot?
A few months later, I reviewed the Instant Pot on the site. I approached it with a mixture of excitement and curiosity, along with a large dose of skepticism and disbelief. I mean, can one appliance really do the job of seven? That was eight months ago. After much use, here's what I think about it now.

i tried the instant pot and didn't love it. what am i missing?

When the Instant Pot went on sale for Amazon Prime Day last year, I barely thought about adding it to my cart. I'd long read about the wonders of the Instant Pot, so I knew I had to have one. Two days later, my precious new seven-in-one appliance arrived, and I was elated.
But I was also busy. And despite the fact that this strange contraption had promised to save me time and change my life, I just didn't have the focus to learn what I quickly discovered was a whole new way of cooking. I had questions and uncertainties, so it sat in its box in the basement for a week. And then I had guests over, so I hid it in the spare bedroom. And then I sort of forgot about it, only to be occasionally and sporadically struck with guilt when I came across another recipe suited for the device.

the instant pot is one of amazon prime day's best deals

If you've been kicking yourself since last year because you didn't get your hands on an Instant Pot during Amazon Prime Day (when the six-quart model was marked down to $70, from $120), you can stop. Cut yourself some slack and consider yourself lucky. Because it's on sale again this year. And the sale is even bigger. In that, this year, the eight-quart option is on sale.
Yep: For 2017's Amazon Prime Day, the Eight-Quart Instant Pot is on sale for $90, from $130. (That's around 30 percent off.) So you'll have to pay 20 bucks more than what you would have paid last year, but when you think of it like $10 per quart, it's kinda worth it — especially if you have a big family.

Wait, What Is the Instant Pot?
If you still aren't familiar with the Instant Pot, you may be scratching your head right now. In a nutshell, it's a seven-in-one multi-cooker that works as an electric pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, yogurt maker, steamer, warmer, an

this is the best instant coffee you can buy

The words "instant coffee" have long come with a bad reputation, the result of low-grade coffee used to make an inexpensive cup. But instant coffee has always had one thing going for it that has kept people coming back: It's easy. Boil some water, add in the instant coffee, and you're done. In a fast-paced world, it's no surprise that we want quick alternatives, and fortunately these days there are several brands trying to improve the instant coffee game and the reputation.
As an avid coffee drinker, I happen to love the ritual of brewing coffee, whether I am at home or whether I am outside, which means it's rare that I opt for an instant coffee. But the growing selection, some sourcing high-quality beans (and ensuring fair wages for the people who grow them), enticed me to give a few dif

instant pot now comes in a 3-quart size

We don't hear many bad things about the Instant Pot. Our staffers love it. Our readers love it. It's basically the Tom Hanks of cooking appliances — people have only nice things to say about it!
If we had to call out one thing to nitpick about it, it'd maybe be that the sizes — a 6- and 8-quart option — were just a little too large for a household of one. If you live alone, you probably weren't getting to experience the magic of the Instant Pot because you just didn't need to make a vat of Potato Risotto.

android instant apps are finally ready for prime-time, available to all develope

Since then, Instant Apps were put on the back burner, but it looks like they are finally ready for developers to tinker away.In a nutshell, Instant Apps allow websites to load native applications from search results.
