Mixing both 3D Illustration, Typography, and design, let's take a look at the 2016 Salary Guide of Harnham. A guide that revealed the positive trends in the UK for Analytics and Data professionals and a distinctly candidate driven market. Designed by Craig Minchington and Radim Malinic, they both combined their skills into a composition of 3D, CGI, typography and a vibrant colour palette. Personally knowing both of their styles, the final result is a delightful mixture of a well-defined conceptual layout, props for their work.

A typography work is always amazing to see, specially if besides that we have more than just hand made letters, but we have deep, graphic details, bevels and a uso of colors that make every single art almost a masterpiece. It's amazing how some styles and trends come and go. I remember in the 80s and early 90s when digital arts and CGI were at their infancy and one of the common themes were these surrealistic environments with 3D representations of people, most of the time with metallic or chrome look. It was all about that and then it evolved to something less futuristic, more graphical and dirtier. Probably heavily inspired by the movie titles of S7VEN, if you can remember that.

digital art & illustration: summer diary series

I really dig when an artist starts a series of illustration with a certain theme. To see a set of artworks with cohesive style is pretty awesome, and when I got to find the work of American illustrator Jade Mere I felt the urge to share it so that everyone could appreciate it.
These are some very nice pieces featuring fantastic beasts. What I find to be the coolest part of it is that what makes most of these fantastic is a not crazy form or an alien-like anatomy, but the details, like a stripe, a color, an arabesque. It's like something you'd see in the Narnia universe.

a series of illustrative work to inspirit your week

Everyone have personal projects on a hold, Two Bloody Weeks is a project of a series of vector illustration that I started on july 2011 and finished recently. The main idea was to develop this arsenal using a particular vector style as a away to study and enhance my illustration abilities.
The highs and lows in life can have us procrastinating our goals, but you should always be patient and have faith. Besides sharing this project, I'm also giving away the original files, you can download them a the very end on the project and use for any purpose you want to, enjoy it!

albino animals series of illustration using just circles

Bruno Silva and Oli Illustration shared an awesome illustration project on their Behance profiles titled Albino Animals Series. It's a Series of beautiful animals illustrations designed only with circles and the use of overlays and transparencies. I love these types of projects where the designer set a clear constraint and try to overcome it to achieve the desired result. Using just circles and overlays is quite challenging but it looks like it worked. I see that there are a lot of semi-circles or just segments of a circle but the shadows and inner-shadows definitely give a nice depth and set the style for the series. It's a great project to kick-off 2018 and inspire us to learn to embrace constraints in our lives.Bua is the online portfolio of Bruno Silva, visual designer who loves workin

taking a voyage into the deep void with this illustration series

I've always been fascinated with space and its deep void, what about an illustration series that is giving up a glimpse and also a tour of our whole 9 planets from the solar system. Well, this is what motion designer Mitch Myers created and it's just stunning. Everything made in Cinema 4D so it's giving us quality with a mix of realism and look. What's cool about it too is that they are all optimized and animation ready for your next project. When I started my design career, back in late 90s, computers weren't that fast and design software, especially for illustration, wasn't as advanced as today. The result was that we used to draw much more. Now we see more and more fantastic digital painting and illustrations done in the computer. The MC Comic Con Ship 3 by Dwayne Vance is a great example. It preserves the trace and the organic feel to deliver a beautiful illustration.
Here is the second ship in the series of Space Racers.
