the most perfect cheese on the planet comes from california

I think I'm safe in saying that cheese makes everything better. Feeling happy? Celebrate with a creamy brie. Feeling glum? Eat a block of cheddar and you'll probably feel better. I'm from the Midwest, so I take cheese very seriously. Cheese is usually involved in one of my daily meals, if not more, and it's always my go-to thing to bring to parties. I have strong opinions about cheese.
In my never-ending quest to find the best cheese in the dairy aisle, I discovered one cheese that rules above the others; I only bust it out for special occasions. This cheese is not cheap, and you will most likely not find it at any ole' grocery store (unless you're very lucky). It also, surprisingly, doesn't come from France. In fact, this cheese is a born-and-raised Californ

recipe: farro salad with arugula, radishes & goat cheese

This hearty grain salad is a celebration of spring radishes and all their flavors, textures, and forms. First, grab the most colorful bunch of radishes you can get your hands on; the array of pinks, purples, and reds will make you smile. Half of the radishes are quickly sautéed to bring out their natural sweetness, while the other half are left raw and thinly sliced to showcase their sharp crunch. Both join forces with chewy whole-grain farro, spicy arugula, and soft and creamy goat cheese before being tossed with a lemony mustard and garlic vinaigrette that ties everything together.
You're already seeing how good this is going to be for lunch all week, aren't you?
Us too.

the internet is freaking out over people dipping pizza in milk

Weird food pairings are unique to each person. Some people insist on dipping ruffles in cream cheese, while others loyally stand by eating fries with ranch. But every now and then a pairing comes around that enrages the masses. Right now, the upsetting combination is pizza and milk.
Yes, people are dipping their pizza in milk.
Munchies reports that Twitter user @hyrulecitizen first shared an image of dunking a slice of pepperoni pizza in milk. In theory, this should not be so offensive since cheese is a primary pizza topping and milk is a dairy product just like cheese. The internet, however, begs to differ.
According to Buzzfeed, @hyrulecitizen is a 20-year-old college student from Dallas, Texas, named Mariam. The user, who hates pineapple on pizza, has since made their account private

8 tips for throwing a homemade pizza party

Pizza party! It's like Chuck-E-Cheese for adults — only better! And without Skee-Ball! Okay, it's completely different. But still a great idea for a party. Cooking one pie at a time in the oven, however, is hard when you're feeding a crowd. We held a pizza party for eight, and here are the top lessons we learned.
1. Make the dough at least a day before.
Have it finished and ready to go. That means your only pre-party prep is getting the toppings ready and making a salad. How much to make? Most homemade pizzas fall in the 10- to 14-inch range, which should feed two people. So figure on one pizza per couple. We made four pies for eight people and everyone was full.
The Only Dough Recipes You'll Need2. Have all topping ingredients chopped and divided.
You're going to be making these piz

the 10 best trader joe's snacks for travelers

But when you're traveling, any ol' snacks won't do. You need treats that will be easy to slide into your purse, carry-on, or suitcase. They can't spill or leak. They can't spoil or require a small pile of napkins to consume. They have to be ultra-portable and ultra-delicious.
With that in mind, here are our 10 faves for when you're taking flight.
Oven-Baked Cheese Bites, $2.50 for 2.11 ounces: A blend of Grana Padano and a semi-aged cheese gives these bites massively big cheese flavor, and the resealable top makes these shelf-stable, gluten-free cheese rounds ideal for travel. recipe: turkey and greens skillet pasta

Ground turkey tends to be a little polarizing, but it does some serious convincing in this delicious pasta skillet. It's cooked in a spiced tomato sauce along with big handfuls of Swiss chard and cooked pasta until it's tender and infused with the flavors of garlic, chili, and cumin. The skillet is sprinkled with cheese just before serving for a one-pan meal that's easy to make and even easier to eat.
Part of the beauty of ground turkey is its sheer versatility. It's a lean, mild cut of meat with the power to take on so many different flavor personalities. Here, it's combined with a lineup of spices for a bit of warmth and heat. To prevent the turkey from overcooking, it's browned and then removed from the pan while the tomato sauce cooks. Add it back in when you cook the greens and it'll

Old-school cheese balls are making a comeback, and for good reason. presstv-'new us administration spreading hatred'

The recent cold-blooded murder of a young Indian man by an American military veteran who shouted ‘Get out of my country’ moments before opening fire has once again revived the debate on hate crimes against minorities and whether the new US administration should be held accountable for an increase in racist attacks over its anti-immigrant xenophobic rhetoric.  Jim W. Dean, managing editor of Veterans Today from Atlanta, Georgia, believes that financial gains are what motivate multinational corporations, energy dealers and the military industrial complex to trigger hatred both within the American society and worldwide.“An international criminal situation [is] exploiting all of this controversy and conflict to make huge amounts of money,” Dean told Press TV’s program ‘The Debate.’He argued th
