smart people don't answer questions at once, they follow these steps first

Many of us think that the faster we respond, the smarter we sound. But have you regretted saying the wrong things and you wish you didn’t say it so quickly? Remember how you often realize you should say this instead of that before you go to bed?The best response usually don’t come instantly, and smart people know this very well. Before they answer a question, they go through some steps first. The flow is, pause before everything else. Then, divert the question if you don’t want to answer it actually. But if you want to answer and can do it at once, hold yourself before the editing process.Pause and allow yourself to thinkWhen you can’t think of an answer immediately, and people are waiting for you, don’t let the pressure to respond quickly stop you from saying “let me think” or “I need some

cordcutters.com answers: do you need an 'hd' antenna?

Whether you're using an Amazon Fire TV, or Android TV, or Apple TV or even Roku, one of the first accessories you should pick up is an over-the-air antenna. It's the best way to fill the gaps that streaming TV can occasionally leave behind. And it often does so with even less compression, which is great.
Oh — and once you've bought the antenna, all the content is free. But one question folks ask all the time is whether you need an "HD" antenna. And it's a fair question — it's all about the HD content these days, right? And it's an especially salient question because it's absolutely possible to watch shows over the air in "HD." (OK, 1080i, but that's another thing for another time.)So let's answer the question, shall we?Read at CordCutters.com: Do you need an 'HD' antenna?

instagram questions sticker: download the update

This week the folks at Instagram released a new feature for their social media platform – for you iPhone users, and Android, and everyone in-between. This new feature allows users to ask questions of their followers with a sticker. A sticker is a piece of media that’s placed OVER a photo or video, and a “question” is somewhat more of a poll sort of thing, if you catch my drift. The update is out this morning. To use a sticker, a user must create a Story. Devastatingly, one cannot add a Question Sticker to a normal Instagram post, because that’d be far too convenient and useful to the end user. Wouldn’t want to make things too simple now, would they? To add a sticker, start a Story, and tap the smily face sticker icon. To delete a sticker, simply drag the placed sticker to the trash can ico

Union Human Resource Development minister Prakash Javadekar has said vernacular question papers for the NEET will be mere translation of the question paper in English."The vernacular question papers for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) — the all-India entrance examination for entrance to medical colleges — will just be translation of the question paper in English", he told reporters here yesterday.Javadekar was replying to a question about the West Bengal Education minister recently complaining that this year the students appearing for all medical entrance examination in vernacular languages had faced tougher questions than the ones set in English and Hindi.About 'one nation one test' in engineering he said, "We are yet to take a call on this issue. question of polls: do people vote against the pm, their mp or the party?

Tomorrow, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi gives his annual speech from Red Fort, millions will be wondering if he will be doing it next year also. Six months ago, it seemed a certainty. But now a very faint question mark is becoming visible in the electoral sky. This leads me to something I have been wondering about for 22 years now. What triggered the question then was that I rang a well-known Member of Parliament to ask him to write a column for this newspaper. He had just lost his seat and broke into a tirade about ungrateful voters. “I did so much for them, yet the wretches let me ...

Anyone who got 11 answers right and that 12th one wrong? Clearly an iPhone person. Am I right?Sadly I was playing on my friend’s iPhone (hence the screenshot) and lost on the weenie dog question (that’s what I get?)!
